Baby talk with a four year olds imagination….

Almost every night my sweet four year old comes into my bed and lays his head on my belly to listen for his sister inside.

Our conversations vary from what color eyes she will have to the fact she has a princess name, or how big mommy is getting. 

Tonight he had another nice surprise when she kicked him right in the ear as he laid his head to hear her inside mommies belly again.  He laughed and told her she better stop that and get out soon….  Then looked at me and asked “where does she come out?”

I replied “she comes out at the hospital, remember we took you to see the hospital a few weeks ago.” 

Logan smiles and says “no mommy where does she come out?”  “  Does she come out your belly button like the sea horse?”

I replied “looks a little small to me but what do you think?”

Logan laughed again and began to describe where he thinks she will come out. He told me his sister will come out a rectangular door on the side of my belly when she is ready.  He described this is great detail …

I just smiled and said if that’s what you think then you must be right.
